Tillamook County Board of Commissioner’s Resolution 20-12 was signed today regarding boat launches.

The Resolution is effective immediately and broken down as follows :
-The Tillamook County boat launches located at the following locations shall be open Monday through Friday for access only by users with a valid Tillamook County Annual Parking Pass or Day Use Pass.a. Nehalem Bay;b. Memaloose Point;c. Netarts Bay;d. Steiner;e. Pacific City (off Sunset Avenue); andf. Three Rivers
-The Tillamook County boat launch located at Hungry Harbor Drive shall be open Monday through Friday for access only by recreational or commercial dory boat operators. Dory boat operators are permitted to park trailers in the Cape Kiwanda parking lot and are prohibited from parking on the beach.
-The boat launches will be closed at 6:00 p.m. on Fridays.
-All commercial and non-commercial boat launch users shall adhere to the following regulations. Failure of user compliance will result in closure.a. All Oregon State Marine Board regulations.b. No more than three (3) occupants per boat.c. Governor’s order on physical distancing in parking lots, boat launches, and boats, which requires always maintaining a distance of six (6) feet.
-All other county public boat launches remain closed to non-commercial users.
- All county, state, and federal parks within Tillamook County remain closed.
-All other county parking lots, beach accesses, and certain parking areas along road rights-of-way remain closed.
-This resolution in the matter of opening additional certain Tillamook County boat launches supersedes Resolution #20-011 and shall remain in effect unless otherwise amended by the Board.
