Rent Assistance Info - $75,000 allotted to Tillamook County


In need of rent assistance? Contact CARE immediately.  

Oregon Housing and Community Services Agency (OHCS) has created a Rent Relief Program to provide assistance to people who have experienced loss of income and are at risk of homelessness due to COVID-19. 

The program has allocated $8.5 million for rent relief that is being dispersed throughout the state.  Of that amount, $75,000 has been allotted to Tillamook County and will be given to CARE. 

CARE is Tillamook County’s local community action agency and will be distributing Tillamook’s share of these funds. They are still waiting for the final details but please reach out to them for help. Call 503-842-5261 - M-F 9 to 4. If you can’t call, stop by in person from 9-11:30 a.m. at 2310 First Street in Tillamook.
