Although our typical tourism and events have been skewed due to COVID this last year, the City of Garibaldi and our tourism partners across the state are expecting a large influx of visitors along the Coast this summer and many saw little decrease throughout this past year especially during the off-season.
Many are preparing now for the additional influx of visitors coming very soon. Let's be ready!
If you are looking for a ways to get involved and help with the influx of visitors this summer here on the North Coast, or elsewhere, Trailkeepers of Oregon is looking for Trail Ambassadors and they are training NOW!
WHAT ARE TRAIL AMBASSADORS? Trail Ambassadors places volunteers at popular trailheads in the Columbia Gorge, Mt. Hood and the northern region of Oregon’s coast. Volunteers participate in order to give back to the trails they love by engaging with visitors around safety, ethical use of public lands, and Leave No Trace practices, as well as sharing opportunities for visitors to engage with local communities.
